Simon Williams - Managing Director

Simon originally started Prime Sports in December 2018 after initially starting his teacher training at Edgehill University, part-time, whilst a teaching assistant at a local primary school in the Ribble Valley (This was previously called Ribble Valley Sports Coaching).

He has over 12 years experience of coaching in schools; with level 2 qualifications in, striking and fielding (cricket), fundamentals (multi-sports) & invasion games (football).

Simons’ CV also consists of time at Accrington Stanley FC where he coached in the academy in the foundation phase & completed his UEFA B License in coaching football. He is currently the u13’s and u15’s district team football coach for Hyndburn and Ribble Valley.

Simon Robinson - Creative Director

Simon started his journey into Musical Theatre at the age of 17. After working closely under the guidance of Kathy Foster, Simon auditioned for all the major Musical Theatre academies in London. At the age of 20 he gained a full scholarship at the world renowned Urdang Academy in London’s West End where he studied for three years. Simon was lucky enough to graduate early in his third year after he was offered his first professional job as a lead vocalist on the world tour for the ‘12 Tenors’.

Simon went onto work consistently for the next 17 years in theatres all across the world; from London, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa, Dubai, Norway, Australia, the United States and Monte Carlo to name a few.

Simon always had a passion for teaching, taking up his first teaching job whilst still at college. For two years he helped a well established Youth Ballet Academy in Wimbledon set up a brand new Musical Theatre department. Within 12 months, Simon had taken his classes into London’s West End to perform in a charity performance at Her Majesty’s Theatre.

Mason Bruce - Sports Coach

“I’m Mason! My experience for this job is working at a private academy as a coach and managing my own junior team with Penwortham St Teresa’s. I’ve also completed my level 3 diploma in sports at Preston college and have done my FA level 1 in coaching football.

Some things about me are; that Iove football and play on Saturdays and Sundays as well as supporting the mighty Preston North End “

Ben Scott - Sports Coach

“My name is Ben, I am currently at Myerscough University Centre studying a degree in Cricket Coaching and Performance.

After this, I hope to progress further in my education by completing my Certificate in Education in order to teach Btec/A-level sport at colleges. I am a qualified Foundation ECB Coach; with this I am Head coach at Hesketh Bank Cricket Club and I have also worked for the Lancashire Cricket Foundation as part of the coaching side.

In my spare time, I like to watch and coach cricket. I also like to go on walks/hikes.”

Kieran Hopkins - Sports Coach

“My name is Kieran, I’m currently studying sports coaching at UCLan University.

I’m a UEFA qualified football coach and currenrly coach in the Prime Sports Football Academy, as well as Penwortham St Teresa’s U’17s. I’m probably the only Tottenham fan in Blackburn and Preston but don’t worry I won’t hold it against you that your team aren’t as good as mine. I’ve played football all my life and can’t wait to pass on my love of the game to the next generation”
